RMLV Course (Queensland)
BARS Training Australia - The Public Safety Professionals
Specialist Equipment

After much public consultation, as of 1 January 2009 Queensland legislation now requires that Responsible Management of Licensed Venue (RMLV) trainings mandatory for all licensees and applicants for a manager's licence. Responsible management of Licensed Venue RMLV training was developed to reduce the negative impact of poor management practices on the community.

In today’s climate of community expectations and enhanced regulations, venues must ensure every facet of their operation complies with legislation and adheres to community standards. Each venue is an integral part of the local community and depends heavily on good relations with a range of stakeholders including - neighbours and local residents, other licensed venues and businesses, Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR), Police, and the wider community.

As the course targets licensees and approved managers it is specifically designed with a management focus. The course not only provides details of the law and liquor licence requirements, it also includes a range of management strategies to assist operators in the responsible conduct of their business.

As an Approved Training Provider with the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation, BARS Training Australia (National Provider Number 32061) now offers this State Government Course utilising only the most qualified facilitators.

During this Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation's Responsible Management of Licensed Venue (RMLV) course conducted over two days you can also expect to:

  • Learn your responsibilities under the Liquor Act.

  • Learn a range of management strategies to assist in the responsible operation of a licensed venue
